I’m
the Lab Manager, John McAfee. I started working here at Horner-Rausch
all the way back in 1987. When I first started working here we were
located in a small store in the Cookeville Mall. The lab over there
was so small if two people were in it at the same time they would
have to turn side ways to pass each other.
Over ten years ago we moved to our current location across the
street from the Mall. Now instead of the small range of prescriptions
we used to be limited to, our lab is now stocked with some of the
most accurate and "state-of-the-art" equipment in the
industry. This allows us to do an amazing number of prescriptions
in most any style eyeglass frame.
Since I first started working here, I’ve gotten married and
have started a family. Times change and so do people. But one thing
hasn’t changed. From my first day on the job I have always
wanted each pair of glasses I make to be the best. Our goal is to
provide the highest quality, hand crafted, eyewear possible.
